An Overview – Yoga Teacher Training Program
This is a multi-style yoga teacher training program based on Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin yoga with props to transform the life of students by practical experiences. We include other traditional yoga practices with props to emphasize the beneficiary aspects of yoga on body and mind. We train you about meditation, chanting and basic rituals of cleansing to purify your soul. The prime aim objective is to prepare future teachers both physically and spiritually.

Calm and isolated learning environment
We have a yoga retreat center amidst the lush green vegetation of Varkala. Here, you can stay for 28 days and complete your professional yoga teacher training course. We provide private rooms for every student with attached Bath, Hot & Cold Shower, Wi-Fi, Washing machine to clean your laundry and Iron board to Ironing your cloth. You can do the laundry on your own or pay for laundry services. This retreat location is kept completely isolated from the normal city life to give you a moment of peace in life.
We serve three times meal a day without any additional charges. Morning with start with a healthy, green herbal tea instead of a milk one. Breakfast is full of yummy and healthy food items such as Fruits, Porridge, poha, Chila or sort of noodles. Lunch and dinner includes rice, Chapati, Lentils, and Vegetables, sometime paneer is mixed with vegetables but that can be avoided if you are purely vegan. This is regular food menu in the school from Monday to Saturday. Sundays are different, no food is served in the school. You can buy and eat your food from outside without any restriction.
This yoga teacher training school is verified and certified to Yoga Alliance. We provide you a certification of course completion at the end. You can open your own yoga school in any part of the world; the certificate is enough to guarantee that you have been trained under the guidance of expert trainers and ready to train other students.

To register, make an advance payment. You can pay the total amount once or rest amount once you reach our yoga retreat center in Varkala. The school reserves all the rights to cancel a registration if you are unable to pay the balance amount on arrival.
Advance deposit is Non-refundable but transferable within a Year from the date of enrollment. (Condition applied*) The condition of transfer to another course is – You can be transferred to any other month’s course if there is availability. A minimum of 4 Weeks advance notice is required/needed for getting you transferred to the next available month. If we receive any cancellation within 4 weeks due to any reason, it will not be accepted, and advance deposit will be forfeited.
How to reach Varkala?
If you want to reach Varkala, all three modes of communications are available.
By air – You can arrive by air to the nearest Thiruvananthapuram airport, approximately 45kms away, with domestic and international flights also.
By train – You can find trains to Varkala, but not all trains stop by this station.
By bus – If you are choosing the roadways, then book tickets in KSRTC buses from Thiruvananthapuram to Varkala. There are several options for local and international students, but foreign candidates should confirm the visa policies from us. More information is available with our staff member, speak with them.
We suggest you to arrive one-day before the commencement of our yoga teacher training batch. Free accommodation is available for all students.

What to bring with you?
When you are doing the packing, keep soft comfortable clothing for everyday. Keep all your essentials that you use to carry while you travel with you such as Shampoo, towel, tooth brush, tooth paste, shaving or trimmer kit with you. Bring your own washing powder for laundry. Carry a set of flip flop with you. Other things you can have are warm clothes, raincoat, mosquito repellent cream, sunscreen, torch, alarm clock, book and more.
What is included in the course fee?
The course fee includes course tuition and accommodation for 28 days and nights. We will serve you three-time vegetarian meal from Monday-Friday. Filtered drinking water is included. However, shuttle pick-up facility is not available for free. You need to pay for that.
Did you provide water?
We provide clean and purified water for drinking to every student. However, if you are sensitive to water-borne infections, then bring mineralized with you.
Is the environment safe? Or, do I need to vaccine myself?
Yes, you have to take some vaccination against some life-threatening diseases that spreads through air, water, food, mosquitoes and others. The CDC and WHO recommends foreign travelers to get vaccine to Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Cholera, yellow Fever, Meningitis, Polio, Measles, influenza, Chickenpox, Pneumonia, and more. Taking vaccines before coming to India can reduce the effect of many diseases.
What is the maximum occupancy of a room?
A single room in retreat is meant to accommodate to two-persons only.
Do you have any access to internet?
We have wi-fi internet in the campus, ask for the password from reception. We however suggest students to avoid maximum use of internet.
What are the electricity details and plug in used in India?
In India, every electricity connection supply 230 volts of 50HZ. You can two-pin or three-pin plugs for charging and other purposes.
