When is the Best Time to Visit?
Located in the enthralling Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamsala offers a great visit in the summer months. Between April to June, the temperature lies in between 22 degree centigrade to 35 degree centigrade, which is favourable for learning yoga and do other activities. Monsoon arrives between July to September, and are quite rainy and cloudy. Winters are chilling, and temperature steeps to 4 to 7 degree centigrade. October to March are cold, and the month of January receives snowfall. So, summers are quite cool and comfortable for learning yoga in India.
How to Reach Dharamsala Yoga Retreat Center?
The small city of Dharamsala is easily connected via rail, road and air routes.
Domestic and International airport – Dharamsala has a domestic airport in Gaggal, which is 15kms away from Dharamsala. This place is connected to all major cities of India – Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai etc. If you are travelling from outside, you catch flight to these places and then add a connecting flight to Gaggal airport. You can book a private cab from or ask us for shuttle pick-up service.
By train – Pathankot is the nearest railway station to Dharamsala. This place is 85kms away, so you can book a cab or taxi to reach there.

200 Hours Intensive Yoga Program
This is a 28 days residential course in Dharamsala for Beginners as well as level 1 practitioners. Isolated Environment to learn yoga
We run our yoga retreat center in the lush green vegetation of Himalayan Mountains. We own a peaceful retreat where students can unwind and learn yoga. Our 200 hours yoga program runs for 28 days, we provide accommodation for all students. Students can get single Private Room with attached Bath, Hot & Cold Shower, Wi-Fi, Washing machine to clean your laundry and Iron board to Ironing your cloth. We also have a laundry service on a pay per clothing.
Food – 100% Vegetarian
Our yoga training school believes vegetarian food to be good for health and mind. In fact, this is verified and proven by medical science as well. We serve three meals a day – Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Your morning will start with a hot cup of herbal tea instead of a milk tea. Then, you will have breakfast which includes Fruits, Porridge, poha, Chila or sort of noodles. In Lunch and dinner, we serve rice, Chapati, Lentils, Vegetables. On any special occasion, we serve you Paneer mixed vegetables, which is Dairy so you can avoid it. This is regular food chart for students in the yoga school. From Monday to Saturday, this is the food menu, however Sundays are free. We do not serve any food on Sunday; you can have food from outside.
200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification
Once the course is completed, we provide a valid certification from Yoga Alliance to our students, confirming their eligibility, skill, and knowledge about yoga. This can help them to open their own yoga ashram or retreat center where they can train other students. Keep important toiletries with you such as shampoo, soap, brush, paste and etc. Carry warm clothes, raincoat or umbrella. Some information about the type of vaccination required for a foreign traveler
